Room 7 Newsletter

Welcome to the new school year in Room 7!

Many thanks for all the new stationery coming in so promptly!

Don’t forget to send those named sunhats along to be kept at school – they are compulsory this term.

We will be studying our place in the world this term.  Children will be encouraged to bring items (such as photos of their house and their family) along to school.

Wet Day Bags – these are simply named supermarket plastic bags or something similar filled with things that can be used inside on wet lunchtimes.  These things could include colouring in/puzzle books, puzzles, paper doll dress ups, origami, inexpensive toys and games – nothing precious!  If you could send one along to school for your child we can look forward to happy children on wet days.

Homework – reading books will go home each day – weekends optional! Spelling words will be sent home with a test on Fridays – will start in a week or two.  Other homework (for example, topic or maths work) will be sent when needed.
